What got me here today
Back Story:
Step back to my elementary school days circa- 1991/1996 outside for recess. I'm chatting with my gals about what we want to be when we grow up.
My turn came around, I said " I want to be a Veterinarian OR a Hairstylist". My girls quickly informed me that "Being a Veterinarian isn't just snuggling them; you have to give them shots!"
I replied "Welp! Hairstylist it is!"
I became the typical, cut barbies hair, style friends for dances, turn hair orange in high school, passionate hairstylist. (all while snuggling animals)
What my gals didn't inform me about becoming a hairstylist; that I've been so blessed to learn.
It's not just hair.
It's making someones day, lending a listening ear, sharing a hug, going through life changes, swapping recipes, laughing together, crying together, saying no to bangs after a break up & SO MUCH MORE!
18 years later I'm still living my dream!
